June 16, 2017 Pension Meetings Update

We have scheduled a Field Representative from the Western Conference of Teamsters Pension Trust to be in the Centralia Office only on Friday June 16, 2017.  Pension meetings will be scheduled at half hour intervals from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

If you are interested in learning more about your pension benefits, would like an estimate of benefits or planning on retiring soon and would like to make application give the Local Union office a call and an appointment can be scheduled.

Appointment times fill up fast, don't wait until the last minute and no appointments will be scheduled after Friday June 2, 2017 to allow the Pension Trust time to research your information.

As of May 3, 2017 there are now only 7 appointments available.  There are 4 appointments available in the morning; 10:00, 10:30, 11:00 and 11:30.  In the afternoon there are 3 avilable; 2:30, 4:30 and 5:00

On November 24, 2014, nominations were held for Local 252 Executive Board officers.  Those elected by virtue of a white ballot were President John Felts, Vice-President Mike Barr, Secretary-Treasurer Darren O'Neil, Recording-Secretary Toni Keller, and Trustees:  Daniel Miller, Ron Denman and Kevin Aselton.  The term of Office for those elected is January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2017.

Local 252 History & Information

Chauffeurs, Teamsters, & Helpers Union, Local No. 252 was originally chartered in 1935. Over time, two Teamsters Locals have merged with Local 252, Local Union No. 699 (Aberdeen & Hoquiam, WA - 1976) and Local No. 378 (Olympia, WA - 2004).

This Local is considered a general Local and represents employees in Lewis, Grays Harbor, Thurston, Mason and the northern portion of Pacific Counties. As such, we represent a wide variety of employees working in the construction, dairy, warehouse, manufacturing, food processing,and transportation. We also represent a variety of professions in the public sector including, but not limited to, Public Works Departments, Law Enforcement, Corrections, Clerical, E-911 Communications, public health and school district employees (maintenance, Para-educators, school bus drivers). The Local employs one full-time and one part-time clerical employees and three Business Agents who work out of the Centralia office and one Business Agent who works out of the Olympia office.
